Department Details

The Department of Chemistry of Mahadevananda Mahavidyalaya has been an integral part of the college ever since its inception in 1968. Decorated by dedicated and motivated faculty members, the department strives to maintain a culture of excellence in undergraduate teaching in chemical education along with a flavor of contemporary research in the field.

The department constantly strives to maintain the required balance between theoretical and practical aspects of teaching in Chemistry with exposure of its students to modern techniques and instrumentation as far as practicable. The department is privileged to have been enriched with bright young students who in addition to chemical education are deeply interested in a wide variety of other activities.
