The department of Botany, Mahadevananda Mahavidyalaya is always following the various advances made in different aspects of Botany, from its very inception. Initially this department started its journey as Botany department for three years B.Sc. general students. Then it has upgraded to Botany Honours department in the year 2015. Presently the department following the CBCS undergraduate curriculum under the West Bengal State University.
