It is hereby notified that a few SC, ST, OBC-A and OBC-B seats are still vacant in most of the Honours and General courses. Interested applicants belonging to those categories may apply online, download application form and thereafter take admission by collecting the Pre Acknowledgement Payment (PAP) Form (CHALLAN) from the admission help desk at our college for payment through any SBI Branch.

 

Notice

It is hereby notified that regular classes of First Year (Honours and General) and Third Year (Honours and General) students shall start on and from 13/07/2017 (Thursday) as per the class routine of academic session 2017-18. The class routine will shortly be made available on the college notice board and college website.

 

Next date of document verification (both Honours and General): 10/07/2017 (Monday)


The students must report by 12.00 noon.
Applicants, (both Honours and General) who missed the previous dates of verification or those, who are yet to get their admission verified, must attend the same with the necessary documents as mentioned below:
Submit the following documents at the time of document verification

a) Print out copy of Admission Form (duly signed by the guardian and the applicant)
b) Bank Challan/ Proof of Application Fee payment
c) Bank Challan/ Proof of Admission Fees payment
d) Original MP/ Class X Admit Card with 2 self-attested xerox copies
e) Original HS/ Class XII Mark Sheet with 2 self-attested xerox copies
f) Original Caste/ Tribe/ PH Certificate with 1 self-attested xerox copy
g) Original School Leaving/ Transfer Certificate (xerox copy not acceptable)
h) Original and xerox copy of Address Proof (Aadhaar Card/ PAN Card/ Voter ID Card/ Ration Card)
i) 4 copies of passport size colour photographs

Application Fees: Rs. 100/- per Form

STEP-1: Fill up the Admission Form online and take a print out of the same for final verification.
STEP-2: Deposit the Application Fee (through Bank Challan/ Debit Card/ Net Banking) using the payment link provided by the college website and keep the proof of fee-payment for future reference.
STEP-3: Check the Application Fee Paid-list on the college website.
STEP-4: If the Paid-list does not show payment confirmation, contact the college Admission Sub-Committee immediately.
STEP-5: Check the first Merit List.
STEP-6: Deposit Admission Fees (through Bank Challan/ Debit Card/ Net Banking) using the payment link provided by the college website and keep the proof of fees-payment for future reference.
STEP-7: Check the second Merit List.
STEP-8: Deposit Admission Fees (candidates of second Merit List only) in the same way using the payment link provided by the college website and keep the proof of fees-payment for future reference.
STEP-9: Log in to Studentís Area to know your college Roll Number and take a print out of Fee Payment Challan (showing fees break-up) provided by the college(After atleast three days from the date of admission).
STEP-10: Submit the following documents at the time of document verification

d) Challan provided by the college obtained in STEP-9

STEP-11: The date of commencement of classes will be announced on the college website.
STEP 12: Carry the Challan obtained from the Studentís Area (in STEP 9) while attending classes.

 

Eligibility Criteria
A candidate taking up Honours course in a subject must obtain

  1. Minimum of 50% marks in aggregate (best four subjects) and 45% marks in the Honours subject or related subject in the previous qualifying examination.

OR

  1. 55% marks in the Honours subject or related subject in the previous qualifying examination.

OR

  1. Candidate belonging to SC/ ST community taking up Honours course must have obtained a minimum of 40% marks in aggregate (best four subjects) or 40% marks in the Honours subject or related subject in the previous qualifying examination.

Note: Marks obtained in Environmental Studies/ Science as compulsory subject in 10+2 examination shall not be taken into account for calculating the aggregate marks in best four subjects for the purpose of admission.
